Liz Maverick is a Christine Feehan heroine!
I just returned from Christine Feehan's "Game" shoot. (I played her twin heroines, Briony and Mari, in the book trailers for Conspiracy Game and Deadly Game.) Fantastic experience.   martini image

Check me out on Fox News' "Geraldo at Large" in a segment about the popularity of erotic romance. The clip is in the show's online video archive. (Go to Feb 23 and click on "Steamy Novels." Heh.) Then head over and find me in a brand spankin' new piece featured in The New York Daily News! And add an interview with the Boston's NBC affiliate to the list!   bomb image

Liz signed for keynote speech
I've been asked to present the keynote speech for the 2006 Silicon Valley RWA writer's conference. The focus of the conference will be on the profession of writing as opposed to the craft of writing. Should be a great conference, and I've updated my Events page accordingly.   martini image

The great reviews keep on coming...
Reviews on Crimson City are filtering in: "CRIMSON CITY is the exhilarating opening paranormal romantic suspense thriller that will have the audience on the edge of their seat wondering if the star-crossed heroes can avert a cross-species war. The story line is action-packed, but the key to the tale is Liz Maverick’s ability to insure her prime players seem genuine in a realistic setting."   gun image

The Shadow Runners finals again
The Shadow Runners finaled in the RWA Mystery & Suspense Chapter's Kiss of Death Contest, paranormal category, of course. That means I get to go to the infamous Chocolate Party where they'll announce the winners. Who cares about winning?! We're talking about an All-You-Can-Eat chocolate buffet!   gun image

Get your Deutsch on again, because Adventures of an Ice Princess is going international. Apparently Die Martini Therapie tickled the right German funny bone and they just have to have more.   martini image

Liz gets Candanian ink all over her
Great news! I just found out I'm not cynical. Who knew? Heh. No, but seriously, check out this rather interesting article from the October 21, 2004 Toronto Star about Modern Cynicism. What a Girl Wants and I are both mentioned.   The Toronto Star

Sprechen Sie Cocktail? Liz sells German translation rights.
Get your Deutsch on, because What a Girl Wants is going international. The prospective title? "Die Martini Therapy." (Apparently, that's what a girl a wants in Germany...not that there's anything wrong with that!) They promise that while they will change all drink mentions to martinis, the characters will not become more tipsy than already written.   Die Martini-Therapie
