When you write about foreign places, do you do the research yourself?
First-hand, baby. For example, my dad used to live in Paris. On Boulevard St. Germain, which happens to be the street of the apartment featured in Hot & Bothered. The shizz described in that novella is real. I had to eat a lot croissants and shop heavily to get that research just right 😉
