

Meet Liz
Bestselling, award-winning author Liz Maverick is a novelist, digital marketing strategist and freelancer whose contract assignments have taken her from driving trucks in Antarctica to working behind the scenes on reality TV shows in Hollywood. She holds a BS from UC Berkeley, a CPA, and an MBA from UCLA.
Liz is known for writing smart, funny, emotional romance novels with fast-paced plots. Her previous works include Cosmopolitan Magazine Book Club Pick What a Girl Wants, Cosmopolitan Magazine “Red-Hot Read” Hot and Bothered, PRISM/Daphne finalist The Shadow Runners, and Wired, a Publishers Weekly Top Book of the Year/PRISM Best of the Best winner. She created the successful multi-author continuity project Crimson City and still holds the rights to this USA Today bestselling series for which she also wrote Golden Leaf winner Crimson Rogue and Waldenbooks/B&N bestseller Crimson City.
When Liz isn’t writing novels, she’s managing the development and strategy of fiction websites. Liz created the popular romance fiction website HeroesandHeartbreakers.com for Macmillan Publishers, running the site for several years after its launch. She also worked with Bookspan to reinvent the Doubleday Book Club as an online hardcover subscription service targeting the women’s fiction, romance, and mystery audiences. She went back to Macmillan to help them with the launch of their self-publishing strategy before returning to writing full time.
Liz currently lives happily ever after in Brooklyn, New York with her daughter and editor husband.
